OverviewThe primary responsibility of the Education Manager is to develop and implement The Chinati Foundation’s diverse, multi-faceted education programs with a focus on deep engagement with the museum’s collection on the grounds of the museum and in classroom settings. The Education Manager is the museum’s educational liaison with schools and universities with a particular emphasis on working closely with the Marfa Independent School District (MISD) and schools in Chinati’s tri-county region. The Education Manager oversees current and future programs including the museum’s in-class room education with MISD, Summer Shake Up, family and adult programming, and visits to the museum for K-12 students.
