The Center of Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) in Pensacola, Florida has a CFPA Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator (Position #126390) position available. The CFPA Coordinator-Marketing & Community Engagement is responsible for all marketing for the Departments of Art & Design, Theatre, and the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music. The coordinator will also oversee all box office and front of house operations and serve as the initial contact for all CFPA rentals. Working with the CFPA Director, the Coordinator will represent the CFPA and the University of West Florida at all events within the building as well as representing the CFPA within organizations across campus and within the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Position Qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure. Ability to communicate with diverse populations. Computer competency. Adaptability to constantly changing priority list.
Working knowledge of one of the artistic disciplines; Music, Theatre or Visual Art. Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Advanced knowledge of “front of house” issues, including event management, promotion and marketing of shows, concerts and exhibitions. Working knowledge of current social media marketing practices. Foundational knowledge of educational practices. Knowledge of university policies and procedures, especially regarding brand management.
Compensation:
$40,000/year plus University benefits
